It's to do with the tightening of the strings so how they were first strung - clockwise or counter clockwise - is important. You may have to re-string first, but I don't see an issue

It probably can. The software allows you to add a custom instrument to tune. This option allows you to specify the desired number of strings and set the corect tone for each string.

I'm not sure about the Kindle HD, but if it has a microphone/headset capability (e.g: Skype), and you are able to install the app via Playstore, ten it should work.
It does work with a Floyd Rose setup.

The question is best answered by visiting the Roadie website which states that the app is available for iPhone and Android phones. I suggest you visit the appropriate App Store and try to download the app to your smartphone.

Unfortunately not, the app is only available on Android and iOS devices at the moment.

Off the top of my head, I know that it works with iPhone 5, 5c and 5s as this is what we use it with.
