Answer:
Yes it would stable. The goose neck is very stiff and doesn't bend easily at all. A suggestion: If you are mounting it on a round metal tube you should wrap the location were the clamp is going to go with a couple turns of electric tape. This will keep it from turning downwards.

The clamp on the other end is quite strong if you have the holder looped as shown in the selling images, holds the phone steady as long as the thing you're clamping it to is no thicker than maybe just over an inch. And it HAS TO BE A FLAT SURFACE.
If you have the holder at full stretch, it can cause a lot of leverage and so if your phone is quite heavy, the holder may struggle to keep upright if you want it at some crazy stretched angles. But most cases I found, it should be fine if you add a couple of bends to the arm. see less

Answer:
I have a 7plus and it fits perfectly!! Have to put it in at an angle as the teeth stop it from coming out, really good gadget! Make sure you have a ledge to attach it to as that’s more of the problem

Answer:
I don't think so, no. The maximum device width this will take is about 3.5inches and I believe the Kindle Fire 7 is over 4 inches.
