Yes, you can and it's the best thing. Don't forget to activate your product. If you have single license don't forget to uninstall the product key before uninstalling windows.

I think you have to use one or the other depending on your pc's speed / power etc. but I'm no expert sorry. Both 32 and 64 (two disks) are included.

There are two discs in the box, one for the 32 bit and one 64 bit systems.
Please note that these discs are for a clean install, meaning that you would have to uninstall XP first. Therefor you must backup all of your important files first and make sure that they will be recognised by Windows 8.1
