I make soups, juices and smoothies using fruit and veg. Just need to make sure harder fruit/veg is chopped into smaller pieces before blending :0)

I would put them in the dishwasher if we had one, but it literally takes 1 minute to wash by hand.
I don't think it's more noisy than the average blender and we've used it every morning since purchasing it to make smoothies without a problem.… see more

Yeah, I reckon Amaranth should be fine. I ground oats into flour without a problem in the 1 litre jar.

I use it for blending fruits, bananas, papaya, blueberries etc so all soft fruit. I have the soup maker which is great for cooking and blending all vegetables to make soups.
