I would not advise it. I use it for iPads and tablets and phones. But you can try it.
The anker stand doesn't cost much. Maybe try it but be careful

The Anker Multi-Angle is only 8 inches high when my ipad 9.7 sits in it. Therefore can you imagine your 12.2 Samsung ?
Having said that, I am so pleased with my Anker Multi-Angle stand it holds and supports my ipad 9.7 brilliantly. It is portable and so easy to carry and use, I wouldn't be without it. see less

Kindly be advised this this stand is for devices with 7-10 inch. And it holds up to a 11lb load and devices as thick as 0.4in / 11mm with the rubber foot insert and 0.55in / 14mm without it.
