Answer:
Totally agree with the others ... it does NOT fit the WV2! I bought as it is suggested in Amazon's 'frequently bought together' option but it was an unpleasant experience. I have asked Amazon to put a warning against the item but I get the distinct sense that it fell in deaf ears.

Both the blade and the pad heads which came with the pole are 280mm width and are not 170mm. They are exactly the same as the main blade head that came with the WV60 vac unit. Personally think the design would be better if the vac stayed in your hand with the extension between the base and the blade. That way you could angle squeegee blade independently of the vac. Pole extends from 1.2m to 2m in length and this design leaves the vac, which is a fair amount of weight, waiving about at the far end. Not too easy control at a distance. Normal windows within that height range are fine, but you'll blow the vac up trying to do the inside of a "lean to" style shallow angle conservatory roof. Design of attachment also means you can't use on the outside of a conservatory roof as it won't angle in that direction. This video shows how it attaches, it just doesn't work for my needs. Hope this helps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gB_MaiCeTxA see less
