Hi Norielle, FUJI probably provide a warranty. The X100 produces brilliant photos, but unfortunately does not have a zoom facility. If zoom isn't important I would spend the extra money.

Limited availability. due to Fuji gearing up to produce the X30 which will be available in September. As far as I know X20 production is now (August) ceased.

yes it's metal at the top and bottom where all the functions and connections are and wrap in a plastic body otherwise (black) just as shown in the photo, probably because otherwise it would be too heavy. Just like an old-time camera really... It's a gem.
