My screen broke due to the poor build of the machine - I have been told by my non-ASUS repairers that it is due to picking it up in the normal course of usage and the pressure from doing so has cracked the touchscreen film between the glass and the metal. This is clearly a warranty matter but ASUS have (based on a photo) refused to repair under warranty- claiming all such faults are due to customer damage. Their customer service team in the UK agreed this was ridiculous but it was their HQ in Holland that made the rules and suggested that I sue! see less It is supposed to have a 12 months all inclusive warranty.
