This will work if you have bt infinity, I had a problem with my vpn connection dropping. Now I dont as I have bought and installed this netgear router.

If the device isn't connected to any wifi you first choose that. Then if the hotel wifi needs you to enter a room number and password you get that popup too. Once once you're connected to the internet do the popups go away (final one is a netgear page saving you are successful)

Upon selection, when it asks to you connect, use the password that is printed on the machine itself. ONLY then can you THEN open the browser and follow the instructions per the booklet. no but you can power it via a usb connector if it is not connected to a mains supply, so you could get a protable power supply and use that.

The chip inside this box is not supported so if you flash it it will brick it. dd-wrt has a list on their website.

As long as you have an ip address on the ipad or laptop you are using to route the Internet through I don't think you would have any problems.
