You need the the Micro sim for the Ipad 2, I regularly buy both these sim cards. I buy the standard 3 sim card for my dongle & I buy the 3 micro sim card for my daughters Ipad 2, There is also a nano sim which is smaller. You need the Micro sim for the Ipad 2. Hope this helps. Definitely no fancy sign up! Just put the ready to go data sim into your iPad or WiFi dongle and connect. Top up again when you need to. Its a neat piece of kit!!
