It's Ok :) the device works just as well with Windows computers. The one thing you need to keep in mind is that iTunes needs to be installed on your PC to manage the transfer of songs and playlists to the iPod. Hope it helps.

It obviously doesn't have a screen of its own, so you have to attach it to the computer to see what you're doing! You can set it to voiceover with the titles of your chosen music or speech items. There are few things you could try, the first would be to ensure the device is charged.This is done by connecting the usb cable to aMac or pc. However I would suggest you type in a search engine ipod shuffle for a user manual, this help you with fault finding. I hope this helps.

Yes to both. It is a very short (3ins) cord with a USB on one end and a jack plug on the other end. Very neat and much better than the charging device for earlier Shuffles.

I have difficulty remembering how to download, so I sympathise! You can put whole CDs onto the iPod: I think I have done this. It is easy to use iTunes, so just 'play' with it, you'll soon find ways to get what you want - I did!
