As we act as a seller of this fitbit products, i can says, Yes, you´re right, its made in Asia, but if we order stock, its always delivered from a US warehouse to europe. Usually the shipping cost is abut 1-2 USD per item. Also if we have defect product, we have to return it to the US. As far as I am aware, yes! It only records activity/distance/calories, not sleep patterns though.
