Set to its lowest point, the height from the desk to where the screen starts is 11cm exactly.
The exact height from the desk to the bottom of the screen CASE is 9cm. The plastic edging is 2cm thick - so the height from the desk to the start of the screen is 11cm

If your card has a DVI-D connection, you can use that (I am using DVI-D right now). HDMI and VGA won't go to 2560x1440.

Assuming that your graphics card can support 2560x1440, you will need to use a dual link DVI cable (single link cables do not support this resolution). An HDMI 1.3 cable should also work. A further alternative, if your card supports it is to use a DisplayPort cable - this monitor has a DisplayPort socket.
