Yes they are excellent. I listen to rock myself and they sound fantastic. In my opinion they are better than the audio technica athm50s. Same crystal clear highs,mids and lows but with punchier bass.

Technicallym I think they are the same, you just get an extra cable (1,3 m headset cable with one-button remote) and 16 different design covers.

Yes, tonnes of bass! All the bass you will ever need! You can also really tell the difference between the top and bottom settings, I highly recommend them for D&B
