I guess it would depend on the disability, you do need to give the strap a tug to get the pin out to set off the alarm.
I've only done it once to test it, I don't think I had to pull it hard to get out so it would depend on the persons mobility and strength.

Putting the pin back in might be a bit fiddly for someone like my mom with arthritis in their hands but I didn't have an issue.

Hi . I,m not really sure about that question as I haven,t changed the battery yet, I suppose its to do with the alarm not being able to work if the battery is not changed

The pin is quiet tight so it won't fall out huni. If it did just put ti back in . I love mine hope this helps .

I have attached mine to the zip pocket on my coat so it couldn't easily be taken from me and thrown somewhere. He could stamp on it I suppose. I havent needed to use the alarm,so havent tried it. I would imagine u just put it back from where you pulled it from..hopefully it work as well as the little torch do

to the best of my knowledge it has but thank goodness i have not had to actually use too much only to check now and the so i am sure it wont need any replaced hopefull for a very long time.

Yes to turn it off you have to put the pin back in, the pin is the black lace that you pull out to activate the alarm; you can safely take the alarm with you, it won't start sounding by itself.
