No, there are sockets on the back, USB, headphone, and the mains lead which does still out a bit. There''s also the aerial which ahs to be adjusted. You could put it on a small shelf.

Ive not heard the 200, but I'd hope it had far superior sound. The 60 sound is weak. The blutune speaker version has better sound, but of course lacks CD if that's important.
