I carry my Panasonic DMC-FZ8 in mine. It's approximately 12cm wide by 10cm deep ( including a lens cap ), and just over 7cm high. It's a nice fit and easy to get in and out, though there is room to spare ( a good couple of cms all round ) if you wanted to go snug. Hope that helps. It's a lovely quality case/bag.

Answer:

You ask about how robust it is, and I'd say that it will withstand normal wear and tear, but there is not a lot of padding, so dropping the case may damage the camera, it depends how far it falls and how often.
