According to my British Gas smart meter, it is about 2p per hour, way less than my fan oven, which is about 33p per hour.

Whole chicken - about 3 - 4 lb (1-2 kg); probably the same weight for other meats too. Think it is so excellent as it is a joy just to sear meat in same pot! very good results all round, so far.

NO... I'm pretty sure that it can't be used on an induction hob. Fine on traditional electric, ceramic or gas hobs, though.

No timer I'm afraid, but if you put it on the low setting you can leave it all day cooking so food ready when you get home, and or you can pop in to the oven in the same dish if you want to crisp say, a chicken.
