I agree!! It has been £79.99 since November 2013! Neither Andrew James nor Amazon seem to want to correct this. It is completely misleading.

Yes it does and it is easy when you know how, Put your hand to the underpart of the guard where you put your paddle in . put hand round where the lid is and turn it the same way as putting paddles in and it just clicks off. Wash and dry then return only this time turning the opposite way.

The two products specs as advertised are the same. The red one is shown with 3 attachments but it comes with 4 as shown with the silver one. The only thing that is 'new' with the the silver one is the colour, so for your preference you've got option of a silver one. Hope that helps

this machine is AC230-240v 50/60hz and 800 -1500 w this particular machine has a1500watt motor and address for andrew james is county durham oknot sure if that is where these machines are manufactured ok

Plastic - but very robust. It has rubber feet and does not vibrate when in use (unlike my wife's plastic sewing machine).
