Depends when you purchased this motherboard and how up to date the BIOS is.
Look at the Asus driver download page for this motherboard and then look in the BIOS updates section of which there are loads and it will tell you the earliest BIOS version you need for this processer to run. If this date is quite a bit earlie… see more
Depends when you purchased this motherboard and how up to date the BIOS is.
Look at the Asus driver download page for this motherboard and then look in the BIOS updates section of which there are loads and it will tell you the earliest BIOS version you need for this processer to run. If this date is quite a bit earlier then when you purchased this motherboard then you are very likely to be ok.
If you do have a too early BIOS then it is still likely the processor will run but not to it's optimum
If you do need to update the BIOS then there is a lot of different ways you can do this (read the manual) see less

Yes it's ready. It is probably the only motherboard you will ever need again.
Awesome power and capabilities. More power than almost any personal PC will ever need.
Any bios upgrades that might be required are taken care of by simple to use software.
