I am not sure! I bought the large size for my Labrador which was perfect. I recently bought the xlarge for my rescue Collie cross lurcher which is also perfect. On a different note, the beds are brilliant, I highly recommend them, but they won't withstand puppy nibbling and chewing. I don't know enough about German Shepherd puppies but I didn't buy expensive beds for my Labrador until he was 2 because he destroyed them all see less I am not sure! Hello, thanks for your interest in Wolfybeds. The only red colour available in the Cradle Bed style is the Winterberry Red. We do a Smart Red, which is a more vivid "Santa Claus' red in our medium size round beds.
