Size "C Duracell" batteries 2 off, were suitable for my clock. Do not use cheap batteries in clocks, in case of discharge when getting weak.

Batteries clearly stamped expiry date 2024. A first rate buy. Nothing like a pack of Duracell batteries certainly on price and quality. Can't go wrong.
