D80 output is approximately 10watts in total, therefore 5 watts per channel max. This equates to approximately 3watts RMS per channel. My wife uses one in her jewellery workshop, and finds it perfectly adequate.

Daisy, I agree with the other comments; this is a good value for money product and I am happy with it. You have to remember that you are likely to be putting MP3 files through this at between 160 & 250kbps - in other words it's already badly compressed and the word "HiFi" should not be used in the same breath.

It should connect with any blue tooth device .I use mine with my android phone . Simply plug the speaker into the wall socket and turn on . Now on your android device ( just so long as it as blue tooth ) search for nearby devices once you see the speaker pair with it and away you go .

I don't have information about the iPad (mini or otherwise). I can say that it works with every Android device in my house (2 tablets, 4 phones: all from different manufacturers). I'd be amazed if it didn't work. Here's a review which suggests the iPad 2 has been fully tested...
