I have never tried to recover a picture that has been deleted, but it is possible particularly if few other pictures have been taken. Yes, its 100% manual zoom camera. I recommend you go on YouTube and watch a few videos from the Fuji guy on hs20exr. There he explained all the feature of the camera which ll help you enjoy the camera. The manual is not as explicit as the level of practical info you ll get fromm these videos. Hope that helps

The Fuji HS20 takes four normal AA batteries. Using flash for about half the shots, the batteries are good for about 200 photos.
Without flash you're looking at 400 to 500 photos.

Yes.But it was not sent with the camara, I had to send request to seller who then sent it in seperate parcel.
