I use the 30 min sunrise. I find it is very effective. I use the radio alarm too - and I am generally waking up by the time it goes off.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately there is no option for setting a timer for the radio. However you can set the radio to Volume Fade Auto. If you have the radio on during the sunset the volume will gradually fade to silence by the end of the sunset.
