yes - it has a loop function in the control panel - but if you just want it for dashcam there are probably cheaper alternatives - this camera is good.. although it does struggle a bit in dim light..

No, the maximum size of card it will accept is 32gb. I use my camera for track days and record around 4 hours of footage. I always have loads of space available on a 32gb card.

You can get a waterproof case which works perfectly but the unit its self is not waterproof. Does not work well in the dark and its super easy to charge (basically plug into pc via usb) no need for additional batteries and lasts a long time
