hi
this freeview box will work with hd ready tv's as well as full hd tv's
it has multiple outputs on the back hdmi / scart / audio l + r
using one of these you should be able to connect up to just about every tv on the market
when you have set it up it will give you both the normal freeview channels but also the hd freeview channels plus loads of radio channels -
to watch freeview hd you need an hd tv and connect via hdmi
you should retune the box about every 6 months as more channels are added to freeview all the time
at my last retune i had 150 channels of freeview - freeview hd and radio
good remote as well
you need to have sure you have a digital aerial on your roof as well
it is a little expensive for a freeview set top box - but i like mine
hiope that helps
