Could be fitted to a stud wall if you screwed directly into the stud, and didn't put anything too heavy on

The 2 thickest pieces we can offer are 50mm and 41mm, however, these are the starting measurements so after planing and sanding the thickness will reduce down by potentially 5-10mm. With this in mind could you please confirm the finished thickness you require.

The straight brackets do have about 6mm range of adjustment. I highly recommend looking at YouTube videos on how to install floating shelves, they can be very informative.
