In my experience you have to use a wall socket charger. Docks and USB from laptops don't charge mine. Hope that helps.

It did work on ios6 but mine also caught fire and burned me. I'm not sure this item has had proper UK quality control - I think it's a cheap import. I got a refund but strangely no replacement was offered. Not sure I'd trust another.

Yes that happened me. Sent it back and got my money refunded. Case was found to be defective. The seller was was helpful and apologetic.
