Hi Rachel, My problem is I don't know what camera or lens you have. If it is - say - a Canon D5 mk iii with a 200 mm EF f 2.0 L lens - no it won't! The TLZ 50 is 19.7 cm deep and the lens I mention above is 20.8 cm long on is own (i.e. unattached to the camera). Clearly it all depends on your equipmrnt. Place your camera with the lens mounted on a table. Take a tape measure and measure from the back of the camera to the front of the lens. If this distance is less than 19.7 cm (197 mm) then it will fit. If it is longer, buy the TLZ 55, as this is 26 cm deep (and my Penatx K 3 with DA* 60-250 f4 lens fits it with room to spare). I hope this will help, but if you need more advice don't hesitate to ask - by the way, you can't buy better than Lowepro. Regards, Randal Williams

55aw2 is bigger in depth so if you want it handle your camera with your zoom lens it might be a better bet. My 55aw2 holds my Nikon d72 00 with a 16-85 zoom and sun shield attached nicely, hope this helps.

Hi there, I cant really tell you because I'm not a Nikon user. I have a Canon 5D mkIII fitted with a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 and its a great fit. All I can suggest is to compare the sizes of the two cameras via Canon/Nikon websites, or nip into a retailer with your camera and try out the bag. Sorry I cant be more help...Andy

I don't know because I have a Toploader Zoom 55 AW II but that does have a belt loop. Also, you can detach the straps so that the bag could be carried horizontally instead of vertically. Try checking the Lowepro website to see if the 45 AW is the same.
