This fits any Canon, the kit comes with both the N3 and the E3 jack, the 6D takes the N3 connector

I was unlucky I guess, I tried two which worked initially but after a while sitting in my camera bag each one failed to work. I am avoiding Hahnel.

Suggest you check the Hahnel site, I think they do separate Canon and Nikon versions. w w w.hahnel.ie/index.cfm?page=dslrremotecontrols&pId=60 should list model compatibility somewhere. I'm a Canon user so can't say 100%
