Before I bought this I was concerned that there did not seem to be any way to display anything other than meters and I thought that when measuring small distances this would be a problem. I needn't have worried because although I have not found a way to alter the display, it always measures to the nearest millimetre and always shows 3 digits after the point. So, for all measurements simply ignore the dot and it is then always in millimetres. Having now used the PLR 25 for a few months I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope you find this helpful. see less
