I had the same problem with my sons football boots. The poor cat got the blame until we realised it was my sons football boots. Yes. That's exactly what we have used them for - and they do a pretty good job. Re the cat wee smell (I know EXACTLY what you mean...), in my son's case, that was caused by leaving damp/sweaty boots in a carrier bag, so they didn't get a chance to air or dry out properly between wearings (or at least, not immediately).… see more Yes. If you aren't already, I would take the inner soles out and leave them and boots outside straightaway, putting a couple of the sneaker balls in each (and leaving them there until the next wearing).
