HI,lay the tv on somewhere the screen gets supported(beds good)there are four screws at the back,if i remember correctly you will need an alun key to do this or philips screwdriver (its been a while) .Once you remove these ,the stand slides downwards,hope that helps.

Digital audio port has no distance limit sending audio signal unlike digital optical audio. What it means; if you connect your device with digital optical cable the distance is maximum 50 feet; if you connect it with digital audio port; the distance is around 100 feet. In short distance it does not make any difference.
