I have an CD programme from an old 5 button mouse installed on my computers (laptop and desktop) and I use the side buttons on my mouse for copy and paste. No, it is only vertical. Though it has two orange buttons on the left side which allows you to switch pages bacward or forward on the Internet and when viewing saved pictures.
