I also use a Panasonic and have made XL loaves they are a tight fit so I always make medium. Size 6.5" x 9" internal.
I find this an excellent bread keeper so much so my mother in law bought one too

I use this both for a small loaf and a large loaf - no problems, although be careful when using the plastic slicer as I have had one part break off. Maybe I was too heavy handed! The plastic container definitely seems to keep the bread fresh for longer.

Yes you can. I tend to slice what I need and keep the bread in the guide and right in the bread bin. Just make sure to fit it right as it can get stuck if you fit it the wrong way
