Answer:
Hi, the tubes are 34g, so you mix it with 34g of creme developer (i use the 30 volume). I have quite long, thick hair and my natural colour is a dark brown. I found this is the only product that will turn my hair a vibrant red. I use two tubes of the dye and 64g (1.40z) of creme developer. Hope this helps.

Answer:
I used it on my mousy brown hair and worked fine with 30 developer. I'm sure a 20 vol or less will be fine on lighter hair, im not a professional so can't say for sure. Hope this helps :)

What brand dye did you already put on your hair and how long has it bin since you dyed it?? If you used a popular brand it should be okay as long as it wasn't a nice and easy. If you used xxl you may need to wait a few weeks as this dye quit strong. For best results use this colour with L'Oréal highlights red, plus use a low 9% peroxide it will make it brighter it says on packet use 6% but I used 9% and 12% when it was dark brown. Hope this all helps you. see less
