The server needs to run Logitech Media Server. There is a Linux version, so you should be able to run it under unRaid. There appears to be a Docker container for it. I have no experience of making that work though. If it doesn't work, have a look at running VortexBox on another NAS.

Yes. That was a vital requirement for me also, and one reason for choosing the Squeezebox at a time when most other players didn't. I have one recording of Bruckner's 9th Symphony where the last movement has been split into 17 tracks, no idea why. Plays seamlessly.
