to be honest with you, you will not feel the back thst much, but it still depends where us the pain. i would recommend to do exercises without using any equipment. the other day i was just listening mudic and killing myself on a matt at home. if you don't have to, do spend money on abs...

It's a DVD, but there's also a really good detailed leaflet which shows you pictures and details of excercises at different levels. I follow the leaflet rather than the DVD.

Hi, I checked the manual and the cruncher itself and there is no warnings about a weight restriction. So not sure if that helps.

Pretty much agree with other people's comments. Not a problem with the arms having a little movement in them. To pack away I tend to put my toe between the head rest and the arm joint, so I can then pull on the arm to fold down.

Hi, I sent it back as the arms weren't stable once I had folded them down and put them back up, they were wobbly. I can't remember how thick the mat was though
