I tested the question with dry flour, and found that a tablespoon hold 8gms and the coffee spoon holds 13gms, this is quite a lot more, so it depends on how strong you like your coffee.

While I can't answer directly as I don't know the Gaggia capacity, the Kitchen craft capacity is the standard one-shot capacity. ie two scoops for a double espresso.
