hello just to make sure is this compatible with windows 8.i wasted £30 buying a printer but it was windows 7 compatible.

compatible with windows 8.no problem.2510 is a good little printer.does what it says on the tin!!

Yes. It works for me with windows 8 and now with 8.1. Oddly when looking for ink I haven't found 2510 listed but it works with hp 301 which is listed for Deskjet 1000, 2000 3000 and others. Anne G..

I'm afraid I can't answer this question, but I would urge you to think twice before buying this product. It's the worst printer I ever had, and since I wrote a bad report on it for Amazon I've discovered lots of other infuriating faults.
