If you purchase the 3G version can you still connect to the wifi for free? Also how does the 3G version work?

Hi, yes you can. The wifi is set as the preferred option and will always try that first. The 3g sits in the background idle. If there is no wifi it then tries 3g. Its not quite seamless as it takes a few seconds to decide there is no wifi and then a further few seconds to hook up to 3g. I have the o2 2gb a month for £1… see more Hi, yes you can. They will tell you that you need a dongle, you dont. Just plug the sim in, it will ask you what data package you want and you're away. Hi Baris..........sorry can't help, it was a present to my granddaughter, she's away at university, I do know however, she is thrilled to bits with it!
