Was waiting for new model, will share my findings hope it will help to decide is it right one for you or not.
Price I personally found is great as it’s cheaper £10 than fire tv 4K model and due to new upgrade this model 50% fast steaming, it’s better picture quality and doesn’t get pixelated picture even on low signal which I sometime experience before.
Content has extra adapter which has flexible cable and helps to connect to the tv easier. I have mine on the wall and can use now this adapter to fit it nicely on tight space. Also it’s around 10mm shorter and compact design than 4K model, so it doesn’t stick out from the side of the tv as much as use do.
Has easy set up to connect home dolby sound bars .
Remote control size is same as 4K model, tv volume can be controlled thru this remote control and has voice command for fast search. So you don't have to have 2 remote controls one for tv one for fire stick as use to, now this remote controls both.
Set up is straight forward , just plug and play. On first time use, it will search and auto download new software. Comes with power cable and wall plug no extra cables needed.
On settings can be choose low power mode so when it goes to sleep it doesn’t use much electricity as use todo.
Overall is great product, cheaper than 4K model and delivers perfect quality and fast connection image even under low internet signal.
Cons: Only one cone I found which is power cord length, my Tv fitted to the wall and power socket cable which supplied is around 1.5m long. It’s bit short for my personal use, so had to get longer power cable separately, it uses usb standard power cable.
If this is bought to upgrade current one it’s absolutely worth every penny. If first time buyer then personal choose, great features, if amazon prime member then even better benefits.
It had some issue with BBC and ITV Hub on first couple days , which resolved and now from 3rd October it’s available. Can watch bbc and iplayer without problem.
It has build in Bluetooth, works fine with steam audible, has BritBox, plays fine Apple TV plus, Netflix, Disney + etc.. it also plays perfectly directly from projector devises, just make sure projector has HDMI port.
It also works with any TV which has HDMI port, my TV is around 10 years old and its not smart tv and this devise works absolutely perfectly .
