As I began to read I assumed that the author was deliberately attempting to convey stiffness and incoherence and I gave the result an A+.
Mr Lichtenberg describes this book as a thriller, it is not a thriller, nothing thrilling actually happened.
This story could have been so much more, the premise held so much promise but ultimately it failed to deliver, this reader was left wondering what was the point exactly?

A very well written and enjoyable consideration of the zombie genre (with large sections written from the point of view of the main character, a zombie). Possibly positive critiscism would be a more in depth ending (as some aspects of the finale were a little vague) however this did not detract from the book, just made me wish there was more to come!

A great book if you liked John Lindqvist's "Handling the Undead".

As my title says - awful! I was intrigued at first and the story had potential but sadly it never amounted to anything. Very rushed ending with no real explanations throughout.

I really wanted to like this, and I found it mostly engaging. But it really feels like a first draft of what should be a much longer story. The ending is especially weak with a hither to unknown character being introduced to effect the climax. A pity as the mystery set upto that point was effective. Please try again but give the reader an ending that won't leave them feeling cheated.

Well it is a different type of zombie story that's for sure. After being waking up in a grave the main character digs his way out and heads back into town, like you do when you're a zombie. I thought the beginning promised a lot more than it delivered and felt the writer could have taken it on a longer more interesting trip. So at the end I felt as if I had missed something.
