I have read many books on the Zodiac -it is a subject that fascinates me, and I wasn't convinced this would introduce anything I hadn't read before. I was pleasantly surprised. Some authors only mention Don Cheney as a possible subject in passing (a couple of lines at most); he is considered in a fair amount of depth here and a suspect i'll definitely research further.
I also really liked how the book was set out, providing all the information then considering the facts, odd coincidences and police actions in his 'afterthoughts'.
I woud have given this 5* if it wasn't for the, frankly infuriating, grammatical errors on what seems like every page - week instead of weak, surly instead of surely and all the misspelling of names. Mike Mageau was referred correctly as Mageau, then Magaue, then correctly again, then incorrectly! It's appalling. If this was a paperback you'd paid for, you'd be taking it back to the shop for a refund. A simple proofread NOT spellcheck is all that's needed.
