About the Author

M.G. (Maria Guadalupe) Harris was born in Mexico City but moved to England as a young child. Before becoming a writer, M.G. worked as a scientist and ran an Internet business.

On regular visits back to Mexico, M.G. became fascinated by Mayan archaeology and made several trips to Mayan ruins in Yucatan and Chiapas. One such trip planted the seed of the idea for THE JOSHUA FILES, a best-selling series of young adult books which was translated into 17 foreign languages.

M.G. is also the author of GEMINI FORCE ONE, a trilogy of action-adventure novels for young adults created with Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson and funded initially via a hugely popular Kickstarter campaign. As M.G. Reyes she has authored EMANCIPATED, a series for older teenagers.

This just keeps getting better and better: The latest in the "Joshua Files" series is a spectacular thrill ride from Oxford to Brazil to Mexico and back to Europe, with secret labs, time travel and UFOs (although by now all Joshua followers know very well what those flying objects are) ... MG Harris ups the excitement, the action, the mystery and her hero's inner conflicts to a point where you think you're in a Bond movie, only this is so much better. You keep hearing all those comparisons with Alex Rider, the X Files, Indiana Jones, the lot, but the truth is: This is Joshua, a true adventurer in his own right!
So, boys and girls, get this book - it's the best thrill ride ticket you'll buy this year!

Zero Moment is a great novel by M. G. Harris. It is full of action, adventure and mystery.

Josh Garcia is one of the Bakab Ixs. After his father died in an avalanche Josh got his hands on the Bracelet of Itzamna - a bracelet that lets you travel in time.

After a buggy trip in Brazil goes wrong, Josh must save his family and friends before it is too late.

A heart stopping adventure, the third in the series this book is a must read.

Awesome book, but you must definitely read Invisible City (The Joshua Files #1) and Ice Shock (The Joshua Files #2) first, otherwise you won't get it!
Great book, really takes you for a ride! I cant say too much without giving away spoilers though. Definite read if you have read Invisible City and Ice Shock.
Read it in 2 sittings, couldn't put it down!
Highly recommended book :)

Just like the last this is a real page turner. Really enjoyable.

I love the new settings woven into the established themes. The action scenes are really gripping and MG Harris has done a great job making all the locations come to life with character and detail.

Josh is really establishing himself as a great presence in the stories and the series is excitingly set up for the follow-up. Can't wait for the next installment. Trajically I have a while to wait for this, compared to being able to do Ice Shock and Zero Moment in quick succession - very satifying!

The Joshua Files third installment Zero Moment is a rip roaring adventure. Don't be deterred by the opening couple of pages in which the email exchange between protagonist and his friend seems a tad clunky. The adventure soon picks up with high speed chases, credible bad guys and, of course, time travel. Brazil and Garcia's chosen sport, capoeira, half fighting skill, half performance art, is brought to life vividly. Definitely one for a rainy afternoon.

This is an amazing sci-fi series about a boy who, one day, finds out that only he can stop the end of the world in 2012! The joshua files seemed confusing to me at first but you start to understand them them when you get into the book. I have MET M.G Harris and she told me that the books didn't have to be read in any order (but I would!)
