Having read with great enjoyment Stealing the network how to own the box and How to own a continent, this book came as a huge disappointment. Flat boring drawn out dialog. Would be surprised if it would pass a GCSE English exam.
If your thinking of buying this book don't! Not even if the price drops to a fiver! Choose one of the others mentioned above or alternatively once of Kevin Mitnics books which I highly recommend.
Hate to be negative but this book really was a waste of time!!!

The other books in this series are excellent reads. They all provide an above average story-line and what's more, interesting technical insight into how hackers think and work. This book has none of that. The story is boring, the characters zero-dimensional and what's worse we do not get any interesting technical insight at all. It's symptomatically for the technical level of this book that the main character, a "security specialist", does not immediately recognize base 64 encoded text but instead use a couple of pages to figure it out.
