The construction of the case is reasonable for the price. It doesn't feel as solid as more expensive models, but is a fair step up from the bargain basement. The case is a little wider than average allowing a taller CPU fan to fit than on lesser cases. The drive bay fan is fitted with blue LEDs so that lights up, and there is also a blue light up Zalman branding on the top.

Airflow design is decent. The 3.5 inch hard disk caddy holds 5 drives allowing decent expansion, all cooled by a 120mm blue-LED fan. That sucks air through the filtered front mesh. At the back is another 120mm fan drawing air out. This arrangement is very effective, with an overclocked X6 at 3.5 GHz dropping 3C under load compared to my old case with lid open. There is also a side fan but I haven't connected that up as it seems unnecessary for my needs.

Fitting components is a mix of tool-less and tool required. The optical drives can be held in only with a built in retaining mechanism. For my drive it sticks out a couple mm too far to be flat with the case, so I reverted to using a conventional screw arrangement. The hard disk caddy assembly is also screwed in. The hard disks themselves are held in place screwed through rubber mounts to help damp vibration. Expansion cards can be held in place with built in sprung plastic clips, but I haven't needed to try that.

Overall this is reasonable as a moderate price case.

Bought to upgrade my current system as it was having heat issues. Was simple to transfer all my components over and its a pretty sound case. I dont know alot about computer building but I have a GV-N98TSL-1GI NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 1GB GDDR3 D-Sub DVI-I card, a DVD re-writer, a SATA hard drive and a IDE hard drive installed. That still leaves plenty of space inside should I want to add more hardware at a later date. The whole design to aid in cooling is brilliant and for use as a gaming base you wont go far wrong with this.

This tower is very good looking, very spacious and comes with extremely useful instructions.
There are many nice features that make this case brilliant:

The hard drive tray has rubber mounts for the screws to reduce vibrations.
The side fan has a speed controller. (Although I never use this, as the fan is silent anyway)
The various blue LEDs give it a very nice appearance.
There is plenty of room for multiple hard drives and optical drives, and more than enough screws are supplied with the case.

The packaging was great, not a scratch on the box.

I am planning on buying a larger graphics card, I will try and remember to update this to say if it is large enough, but I am confident it will be. The dimensions of the case are:
Length: 19"
Width: 8" front, 8.75" at widest point
Height: 19"

In the side 'pod' there is also enough room and a designated area to add another fan should you need to, although I find the main 2 sufficient.
Strongly recommend, great for builds, and the instruction booklet makes everything very simple.

The case arrived well packaged and quickly. This was my first attempt to build a system from scratch. The case has a lot of space inside and gives plenty of room for adding components and working in. The cooling is excellent and it looks really good with the lighting effects.

Good instructions and excellent cooling. All in all fantastic value.

Selected this box after reading a revue in 'Computer Shopper' where it was listed as a best buy in the 'affordable' section. What impressed me most was not just the quality of the box, but that it came with three fans already fitted and excellent unitory access, to the various storage areas.
Having gathered together all my other bits and pieces and 'girded my loins' for the build, the above assets allowed me to complete it in under an hour, including the operating system!
I hope the subriquet 'Gaming Computer Chassis' is not offputing to 'Old Fart' builders like myself, as this box, at a very reasonable price, is all anyone would need to build any standard of computer. Excellent.

1. The case itself is good looking with plenty of room and the blue LED fan lights enhance the case.
2. The self-locking clips for optical and other drives are far to flimsy and you really must use the screws which are supplied with the case.
3. The PCI card installation plastic clips are also very flimsy and difficult to unlock when you first want to install a PCI card. Two of mine broke so I used the screws supplied but those on my sons's case were OK during installation. So I suppose you take your chances.
4. I was unable to get the fan controller to work on my case (the son's is a Z7 case) so no fan controller.
5. I've fitted a fourth fan but even with that many installed, the unit is very quiet.
6. Spec is: Gigabyte "S" series AM3 motherboard. AMD Phenom II quad core CPU. 4GB 1066 Crucial memory. Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio. Gigabyte 8400GS 512MB Graphics Accelerator.

This is a well made case. Very cool running and reasonably quiet. Plenty of interior space with easy access to motherboard underside. A very good case for the modest price.
