This 12-hole Ocarina C3 made from plastic stands out because of its remarkably clear sound. The ocarina is suitable for both beginners and professional musicians alike. It is an alto ocarina of medium size. Its pitch range of more than 1,5 octaves (a'-f'''; A4-F6; one octave lower than the SC1 model) makes it an adequate companion for professional musicians for almost any kind of music. Fingering symbols (specially designed for the 12-hole ocarina) make it possible to learn playing the instrument on your own. A solid cardboard box protects the instrument. A short introduction and fingering chart will help you to teach yourself the instrument. IMPORTANT NOTICE from the manufacturer Focalink: Some people say that the ocarina has scratches, but in fact these "scratches" are traces of the manufacturing process. They are caused by the effusion of the hot air from within the moulding tool. They are a technical necessity - without these traces the ocarinas could not be made. Focalink instead focuses on the sound quality by making the walls of the ocarina-body thicker. This means that the manufacturing process takes longer and the traces become even more pronounced. Thus these traces become a marker for sound quality. The question is: Is it its outward appearance or the richness of its sound which makes the musical instrument? Focalink thinks, "if it helps to make your music more beautiful, these traces are nothing."

The ocarina itself does not have the best Ocarina sound quality, but still has a good enough sound for beginners (like myself), and is well worth the price. It also includes a lovely little strap to wear around your neck. The only issue is the instructions come in German, so you might have to rely on an online tutorial.
Reguardless, I think it is worth buying for beginners.
