Loved them all, I really enjoyed all 3 books but didn't want them to finish 😔😢 but saying that they all had proper endings that didn't make you feel cheated, but I could definitely read more about the Declan brothers and hope there's a follow up of a few years on, please 😊 AND to be honest I don't normally buy books as I use kindle unlimited but these were worth it, the authors other books are a bit too expensive to buy purely because of having so many other books on ku to justify buying them otherwise I would definitely be reading them 🙁 But I will keep an eye out for Token

Zeke is the third and final in this series about the Declan brothers and how they eventually got caught and taken off the market by three girls that came there for the summer determined to win their hearts. Well written.

I received this for an honest review. I have read all three books of Breaking the Declan Brothers and each book has been amazing. Kelly Gendron is one amazing author. I have books that I refer to as shelf worthy, which means not only do I have them on my e-reader but they are so good I have a copy on my shelf at home. This is one series I call shelf worthy. This is the third book in the series but do not worry it can be read as a standalone.

Zeke Declan had 4 rules: (1) Don’t Call him. He’ll call you. (2) He doesn’t date. (3) No Sleepovers. And (4) Absolutely no virgins. You have to look at Zeke to wonder what caused him to have these rules. With each of the Declan brothers you discover there is some kind of scar there that they need to right woman to heal.

Things from Zeke’s past broke my heart. Sorry you will have to read the book to find out. Might want a box of tissue though. I cannot imagine leaving with that much pain, hurt, and guilt for so long. He defiantly needs to have someone to talk to. When you keep something like this in for so long it eats at you until there is nothing left.

I love Rayna and Emmie have talked Lurlene in to going after Zeke. Lurlene is perfect for she can not only get him to break rules 1-3 but is also the perfect one to break rule 4. Yip that is right Lurlene is a virgin. I so enjoyed reading about how she worked on breaking down all of Zeke’s walls. Does not mean that Zeke didn’t fight her along the way. There was so much hot sexual tension between the two of them.

I loved Rusty in this series. She did not mind telling it like it was. I think she is one of the reasons that Lurlene kept pursuing after Zeke. Rusty thought a lot of the Declan brothers and wanted what was best for them.

Zeke is the last of the "Breaking the Declan Brothers" series. I was given a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinion is that you need to read the books in order since every brother appears in each book.
We've always seen Zeke as the ultimate playboy. He has his 'rules' when it comes to girls and we've always been led to believe it's because he wants to hit it and quit it. We discover in this book, that's not the case. Those rules are to protect himself, and also to protect anyone who might try to care about him. He has trauma from his past that he's never dealt with, or even told anyone about. It's been simmering inside him for over a decade and he's been able to keep it from boiling over by keeping everyone at arm's length.
Lurlene is determined to break all of his rules, even before she knows the reasons for them. She knows from their very first meeting that there's more to him than he lets people think. Slowly, she's able to crack the armor he's built around his heart. She's the first person to not accept him at face value and to call him on his crap. He's never had anyone try to fight his rules and get close to him...no one has ever cared enough to see the pain that lies underneath.
I love Lurlene's character. She's strong and she's stubborn; refusing to give up on Zeke even when he wants her to. She's determined to make him break ALL of his rules for her, and by doing so she's able to work her way into his heart. She's exactly what he's needed all this time. I hate that he suffered silently for so long, but he needed someone who cared enough to persevere without getting frustrated with him and giving up. She's nothing but supportive when the painful truths of his past are revealed and she accepts him exactly as he is.
